Second Pan Arab Endodontic Conference

The Conference was held for three days, and five workshops were scheduled before and after the official dates, which in turn contributed to activate and enrich the Conference.
The Key lecturers in this Conference included Dr. Kenneth Hargreaves , Dr. Cliff Ruddle ,
Dr. Christine Sedgley, Dr. Ove Peters, Dr. khaled Balto, Dr. Leif K. Bakland, Dr Malet Jean Philippe, and Dr. Khaled Murdad, in addition to other Arab and foreign lecturers who enriched the conference with their lectures and knowledge. This had a good impact on the attendance which exceeded 500 participants.
The establishment of workshops on the sidelines of the conference and its popularity among the attendees demonstrated the importance of such workshops to develop the doctors’ capabilities and skills.
The founding committee of the Association in conjunction with the heads and representatives of trade unions, Arabic associations and clubs for endodontic treatment held a meeting on the sidelines of the conference. Delegates tackled perspectives and set new horizons in order to activate and develop the Assembly. Decisions were made to promote our specialty in Arab Countries and to encourage Arab endodontists to found endodontic societies in their countries.
Special effort is dedicated to contact all Arab national endodontic societies and to highlight the importance of joining into our association. Stressing on the importance of communication was one of the most important issues and recommendations were taken concerning the website and the social Medias. During this meeting, Lebanon has been chosen to be the host country of the Third Conference in 2013.
The UAE Club for endodontic treatment, as organizers of the second conference held in Dubai, would like to thank all the Arabic endodontic societies, associations and clubs which contributed to the success of the conference. I would also like to personally thank, as the second President of the Arab Endodontic Society and the President of the Second Conference, all the doctors, lecturers, attendees, Dubai Police and companies who enriched the conference with their presence and support. Also, I would like to extend my greetings to the organizing company "Meeting Mind" which worked very hard to make this conference a success.
From my position, I wish for my colleagues in Lebanon, led by Dr. Walid Nehme, head of the Arab Endodontic Society and the President of the third Conference, every success in the upcoming conference, offering you our full support to make this event successful.
