Protaper Next hands-on seminar course by Dr Damiano Pasqualini

Title: 5th Generation of NiTi Systems, Protaper Next shaping Instruments

Objectives of the course: Participants will have the possibility to discover the Protaper Next, to learn how to maximize its use and to recognize the efficiency with fewer files.
Room B
sponsored by (MICRO-MEGA)

Oneshape hands-on seminar course by Prof Khaled Balto

Title: New approach for maximizing efficiency and reliability of non-surgical root canal treatment

The clinical practice of Endodontics in the past decade has experienced critical changes. The changes are occurring so rapidly that these can be overwhelming. The development of new technology and systmes, based in relevant research, has improved the precision of our surgical or non-surgical procedures making their prognosis more predictable and the efficiency of performance greater.

This course is designed to address the knowledge and technical aspects needed to perform modern reliable endodontic therapies. This course is structured as a combination of in depth lectures, hands-on workshops with micro-training and clinical based scenarios. During the course the clinicians will be exposed to new techniques, advanced equipment’s and the latest gadgets in contemporary endodontics.

The objectives of the course is:
• To acquire clinical skills in case selection: clinical cases based scenarios
• To review and reinforce the basics of preparation for treatment
• Learn the basics of the modern approach of root canal preparation using One Shape files
• Incorporating the shaping techniques with efficient and safe irrigation approaches

Retreatment hands-on seminar course by Dr Jean Philippe Mallet

Title: Endodontic retreatment and Ultra Sonics : the journey From the access cavity to the apex

Prior to the endodontic re-treatment, an analysis of the root canal access is always required. However, only a released canal entrance allow access to the apex and his disinfection. The preparation of the pathways is therefore very important and primary interferences can be carefully removed using the ultra sound instruments of the Endo Success Kit. From the preparations of the walls with the CAP inserts, to the preparation of the floor of the pulp chamber with the ETBD insert revealing the different stain of the dentin; then using smooth ET 18, 20 or 25 inserts, each ultra sound instrument brings its solutions to ease this growth.

If we have to analyze and evaluate all over the re-treatment process in order to access on the apical area, progression and cleaning is greatly facilitated by ultra sonic instrumentation dedicated to endodontics.

This workshop will teach how to choose, use and manage ultra sonic tips for a better retreatment procedure.

TF Adaptive hands-on seminar course by Prof Philippe Sleiman ( 1:30-3:00) and Dr Freddy Belliard ( 3:30-5:00)

Title: TF Adaptive a breakthrough in shaping procedures.

Geometry driven efficiency in root canal instrumentation: Straight line access, canal location, dealing with complex cervical anatomy and creating shapes that favor disinfection

This course will provide the information required to prepare canals in a simple and easy way with the TF Adaptive instruments and innovative motion. In order to maximize proficiency with the TF Adaptive system, a safe and easy mechanically assisted manual glide path technique will be presented. We will discuss the features that make this system efficient and unique, the benefits if reproducing a geometry that simplifies the transportation of irritants into the root canal system.
After the mechanical preparation of the Root Canal System, the attendees will be guided through the negative pressure irrigation technique.
Room E
sponsored by (FKG)

FKG hands-on seminar course by Dr Mohamed Ibrahim.

Title: Trip To The Apex

The canal morphology often is complex and unpredictable, severely limiting the practitioner’s capabilities and posing challenges to modern medicines, materials and instruments, so knowing canal morphology and science of dental equipment and materials will able the dentists to practice safer, more efficient and to understand the principles and problems of shaping and cleaning, to determine the apical limits and dimensions of preparations, and to perform microsurgical procedures successfully.

Course Objectives

1. The dentist must know how to start endodontic treatment with the end in his mind
2. The Participants should know the physical properties of instruments and its impact on endodontic treatment
3. Dentist should gain knowledge about how each component of the file can influence the outcome of endodontic treatment.
4. knowing what is the SMEAR Layer and how to remove
5. learning the role of irrigating solution in increasing the success rate of endodontic treatment
6. Knowing that endodontic small details gives a high success rates7.At the end each dentist must be able to choose the best sequence for each canal
Room F
Sponsored by (VDW)

Reciproc hands-on seminar course by Pr Ghassan Yared

Title: Canal preparation with only one instrument used in reciprocation, without glide path and without prior hand filing

The participants will practice on extracted teeth and will learn:

1-To select the appropriate RECIPROC® instrument for canal preparation
2-To prepare canals in extracted teeth with only one RECIPROC® instrument without prior use of hand filing and without a glide path
3-The limitations of this new concept of canal preparation and to manage canals where those limitations may be encountered
